Consulting & Navigation · Minnesota

Finding a clear path forward shouldn't be so complicated.

ClearPath Co provides experienced consultation and navigation for social service organizations, individuals, and families working through complicated systems, decisions, and transitions.

Most people don't need more information. They need help understanding what matters, what their options are, and what to do next.

Why ClearPath

Experience on every side of the same problem.

ClearPath brings together two decades of social service work: executive and senior leadership, more than fifteen years of direct case management, and hands-on experience with the county, state, and community systems people are asked to navigate.

That combination matters because organizational problems and family problems are usually the same problem seen from different chairs. A policy that looks reasonable on paper becomes confusing at a kitchen table. A family's question often points to something a system never explained well.

Practically, it means fewer explanations, less translating, and faster progress. You get someone who understands how the work is actually done, how decisions get made, and what tends to help — along with straightforward answers about what is and isn't possible.

Situations ClearPath can help with

Sometimes the first step is simply naming what you're dealing with.

Organizations

  • Our organization is growing and our systems haven't caught up.
  • We need stronger supervisors and managers.
  • We are developing a new program and need help figuring out where to begin.
  • Our processes aren't working consistently.
  • We need an experienced outside perspective on a complicated problem.
  • We need policies, tools, training, or workflows our staff can actually use.

Individuals & Families

  • We want Mom or Dad to stay at home, but we don't know what support is available.
  • Things are changing and we're not sure what level of help is needed.
  • We were told to contact the county, but we don't understand what happens next.
  • We keep finding resources online but don't know which ones apply to our situation.
  • We want to plan ahead rather than wait for a crisis.
  • Someone we love has died and we don't know what needs to happen next.

Meet Julie

Julie Grages Olson, founder

Julie has spent more than twenty years in social services — leading organizations, developing supervisors and programs, and sitting with individuals and families as they worked through decisions about care, support, and what comes next. She is a Certified Support Planner with a person-centered approach and a preference for practical answers over polished ones.

ClearPath grew out of a pattern she kept seeing: capable people stuck not because they lacked information, but because no one had helped them sort it out.

Meet Julie

How it works

A straightforward way to begin.

  1. 01

    Start with a conversation

Tell ClearPath what you're facing, trying to build, or trying to understand.

  2. 02

    Clarify the situation

Together, identify the questions, priorities, challenges, and available options.

  3. 03

    Create a path forward

Develop practical next steps, resources, strategies, or recommendations based on the situation.

Every situation is different, so the work is shaped around what you actually need. Some engagements are a single conversation; others involve research, planning, or ongoing consultation.

Resources

A resource library is in development.

ClearPath is building a collection of practical information, tools, and guides on social services, aging at home, caregiving, understanding support systems, leadership, and planning ahead. Material will be added as it is ready.
